Bulk landing & location pages

Be the local answer in every town you cover, not just the one on your letterhead.

You work across Essex, or the whole South East, but your website only ranks where your office is. Landing Page Lab builds a page for each town, service and search your customers make, and every page is genuinely different.

What we build

One page for every place and service your customers search for

When someone types “emergency plumber Chelmsford” or “wedding florist near Billericay”, Google looks for the page that answers that exact search. If your only page says “serving Essex”, a competitor with a Chelmsford page usually wins.

Location pages

Target a place: your service plus a town, village or postcode.

Landing pages

Target a search: a product, a problem or a type of customer, with or without a place. Most campaigns use both.

Not a find-and-replace job

Most location pages are one page with the town name swapped. Ours aren’t.

Many web design companies copy one page and swap “Brentwood” for “Billericay”. Google spots that pattern easily, those pages rarely rank for long, and they can pull the rest of the website down with them. Landing Page Lab builds every page from information about that place, so each one says something the others don’t.

Typical bulk pages

Only the name changes. Same words, same layout, same reviews. Easy for Google to spot.

DotScott’s Landing Page Lab

Every page is built from its own place. Different facts, priorities, proof and even section order.

What goes into each page

Local facts

Postcodes, neighbouring villages, landmarks and realistic travel times from your base.

Local search research

What people in that town actually search for, so each page leads with what matters there.

Your proof from the area

Reviews, completed jobs and photos from that town or nearby, wherever you have them.

Content that changes shape

Sections, FAQs and their order vary with what each place has, not just the wording.

Uniqueness checks

Pages compared against each other before launch; any too similar are rewritten.

Why location pages?

Local searches are specific. Your website should be too.

Most local searches include a place name or “near me”. A page written for that search is a closer match than a general service page, so it tends to rank higher and convert better. The visitor lands on a page about their town, not one they have to read twice to check you cover them.

We’ve built tens of thousands of these pages over the years, and for many clients they’ve brought in more enquiries than any other part of the site.

Found by AI assistants too

When someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot for “a reliable electrician in Hutton”, the assistant looks for clear, consistent facts about who serves that area. A well-built location page gives it exactly that.

It suits you if…

The honest bit

This works, and it carries a risk. You should know both.

Google’s spam policies cover “doorway pages”: many similar pages made to rank for nearby places. Since March 2024 they also cover “scaled content abuse”, meaning large numbers of pages made mainly to rank rather than to help people. Bulk pages done badly can fall under either.

What could happen

The pages stop ranking. Google can quietly ignore pages it sees as low value.

Your wider site is affected. A manual action, or a sitewide quality judgement, can lower rankings across your whole website.

Recovery takes time. Fixing the pages and asking Google to reconsider can take weeks or months.

How we keep the risk down

We can’t promise Google won’t change how it treats these pages. We can promise you’ll understand the risk before you start, and that we’ll tell you straight away if we see a warning sign.

How it works

Six steps from a list of towns to pages that bring in enquiries

Plan first, build second, nothing live without your sign-off.

Phase 1 · Plan

01

The discovery conversation

About an hour. Your services, the areas you really cover, where your best customers come from, and who ranks in those towns now.

02

Your campaign plan

Every service and place listed, the page count, and which batch goes live first. You agree it before anything is built.

Phase 2 · Build and review

03

The master template

One page designed in Elementor with your branding, a clear call to action and room for local detail. You review it as it will look.

04

Unique content for each place

Local facts, search research and your proof, written up with AI and checked by a person. Pages compared for similarity.

Phase 3 · Launch and measure

05

First batch goes live

Generated on your WordPress site with titles, descriptions, headings and links in place, and added to your sitemap.

06

Measure, then grow

Rankings, traffic and enquiries reported in plain English, with a recommendation to expand, refine or pull back.

Everything a location campaign needs, from the plan to the reporting

FAQs

Questions people ask

Something we haven’t covered? Book a call and ask Scott directly.

No. That’s the approach Google penalises, and the reason many location campaigns fail. Every page is built from facts, search research and proof for its own place, and we check pages against each other before they go live.

It can be, if the pages are thin copies made only to rank. We reduce the risk with unique local content, a staged launch and close monitoring, but we can’t remove it. That’s why we explain it before you start.

It could. If Google decides the pages break its policies, it can lower rankings across the whole site. We start small so any warning sign shows early, and we can take a campaign down quickly.

It depends on how many places you serve and how many services you offer. Some campaigns are 50 pages, some are several thousand. We’d rather start with fewer good pages than many weak ones.

Yes, if it’s on WordPress. Landing Page Lab works with most WordPress sites, and we’ll match the template to your existing design.

AI tools help us write up the local detail quickly. A person checks it, and you approve the template and first batch before anything goes live, in line with our AI usage policy.

[Typical timeframe, e.g. first rankings within X weeks, more competitive towns taking longer.]

The pages are on your website and yours to keep. If you’d rather remove them, we can delete or noindex the whole campaign.
